PHEW

It's been a blur for the last few days. We arrived back from Egypt on Sunday night, went to check in and found we were missing a bag- oh yes the bag with money, rail pass, wallet....... I won't relate the next hour in detail but will just sum up that it was all dz's fault, we all stayed cool and it turned out all right. Old brains need new strategies.
So monday we drove north to the Dead Sea, past En Gedi and Quram and up into Jerusalem. Melanie registered at he conference (which after all is the reason we're here) and we checked in to our hotel. I've got a bunch of new photos and have not been able to find someplace to upload.
When .Melanie gets back today, we'll head off to explore the old city.
