HALMSTAD

Off to the coast. We went to Halmstad today. Took a drive around town and to the area where the hoy peloy live (no idea how to spell that<<<<<<<) anyway, fancy houses on the ocean. Lots of walking paths so we strolled on out to check out the view to the west.

Check out the sun.

And it was a bit nippy. So then we drove around the docks and then checked out the Piccaso.
fairyland

Went over to Debra and Nils's this am at 8:00 am it was pitch black but by the streetlights I could see that there was a light haze which had coated all the tree's with ice. Been this way every morning which create's a scene right out of Hans Christian Anderson. It is now 9 am and j
ust getting light.

Chanukah in Smålandsstenar

Landed in Denmark just a few minutes late. Bags came right out and I hopped on the train; it is always so much easier the second time around.'
Called the called the car rental people from the train while watching the windmills go by. They met me at the first station over the bridge. Got myself a B'mr for the duration. 6 Speed but a diesel, so don't get too excited.
After a relatively painless trip I've arrived in Smålandsstenar met up at Ammi's and saw Nils, Debra, Maria and her friend Marisen and started to catch up. Then off to the the apartment to make applesauce and check out presents. Let it be known that there will be a net gain in moose in Tully for the New Year.
I have so far relieved myself of about half the gifts that came over with me. We'll have a continuation of the holiday at Ammi's tomorrow.
Now it's time to make latkes and applesauce and let the cat work out for all of us.

On the road again
Off to Sweden. So far the most exciting thing was ending up in the middle of Newark. Yeah google maps for saving the day. The woman at security wanted to get a closer look at Debra's Wedding cake. It passed inspection
